One Charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm
On September 19, 2025, officers with Patrol Services charged 64-year-old Bruce Swanson with assault causing bodily harm.
Shortly after 6:00 p.m., 911 Communicators received a report of an assault at a business in the 200 block of Goulais Avenue. Officers were dispatched to the scene. An investigation revealed the accused got into an altercation with an employee at the business and strangled them. The accused was arrested.
The accused is charged with assault causing bodily harm – choke, suffocate, or strangle. The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on November 24, 2025.
