On June 1, 2026, officers with Patrol Services charged 53-year-old Michelle Cote with assault and theft under $5,000.
Around 1:15 p.m., 911 Communicators received a report of a theft from a business in the 0-100 block of Great Northern Road. Officers were dispatched to the scene, where the accused was in custody of security guards. An investigation revealed the accused left the business with stolen items and then slapped a security guard who attempted to retrieve the items. They were arrested.
The accused is charged with:
- Assault
- Theft – Under $5,000
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on August 24, 2026.
