On July 25, 2026, officers with Patrol Services charged 21-year-old Makaila Russon with assault.
Shortly before 6:00 p.m., 911 Communicators received a report of an assault in the 700 block of Great Northern Road. Officers were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, officers located the accused in custody of security guards. An investigation revealed the accused attempted to punch security guards after being advised to leave the property and attempted to bite them while being detained.
The accused was arrested and charged with assault. They were released on an undertaking and are scheduled to appear in court on October 19, 2026.
