On July 9, 2026, officers with Patrol Services charged 48-year-old Andrew MacDonald with assault.
Around 10:00 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of an assault at a business in the 200 block of McNabb Street. Officers were dispatched to the scene, where they located the accused in custody of security. An investigation revealed the accused punched a security guard who asked them to leave the business, causing minor physical injuries. The accused was arrested.
The accused is charged with assault. They were released on an undertaking and are scheduled to appear in court on September 28, 2026.
