On March 2, 2026, officers with the Division 2 Unit, with assistance from Patrol Services, charged 41-year-old Thomas Kidder with assault.
On February 1, 2026, 911 Communicators received a report of an assault by the accused in the 500 block of Dundas Street. An investigation revealed the accused had headbutted a victim who is known to them. The victim sustained minor physical injuries. A warrant was obtained for their arrest.
On March 2, 2026, officers located and arrested the accused. The accused is charged with assault. They were released on an undertaking and are scheduled to appear in court on May 25, 2026.
