On January 28, 2026, officers with Patrol Services charged 35-year-old Rebecca Sangestino with assault and fail to comply with probation orders.
Around 12:00 p.m., 911 Communicators received a report of a disturbance at a business in the 200 block of Bay Street. Officers were dispatched to the scene, where they located the accused in custody of security guards. An investigation revealed the accused had struck a security guard . They were arrested. No physical injuries were reported.
The accused is charged with:

- Fail to Comply with Probation Order x2
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on March 30, 2026.
