One Charged with Assault
On September 20, 2025, officers with Patrol Services charged 23-year-old Nicholas Mitchell with assault.
Around 2:30 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of an assault at a business in the 600 block of Queen Street East. Officers were dispatched to the scene. An investigation revealed the accused had assaulted a victim, who is not known to them, by striking them in the head multiple times. No physical injuries were reported.
Shortly before 3:30 a.m., officers located and arrested the accused. The accused is charged with assault. They were released on an undertaking and are scheduled to appear in court on November 17, 2025.
