Man Charged with Uttering Threats
On February 24, 2022, officers with Patrol Services charged 19-year-old Hasan Kizmaz with uttering threats.
Around 4:30 p.m. the accused was at the Sault Ste. Marie Airport and told security he had a bomb. Airport security followed their security protocols and notified police. A subsequent search of the accused did not locate a bomb and he was arrested.
He is charged with uttering threats and public mischief. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
