Man Charged with Theft and Mischief
On January 27, 2022, officers with Patrol Services charged 38-year-old Brandon Bennett with theft under $5,000 and mischief under $5,000.
Around 3:00 a.am. officers responded to reports of a man attempting to remove a catalytic converter in the 800 block of Great Northern Road. Upon, arrival the man had fled the area. The investigation lead officers to a parking lot in the 900 block of Great Northern Road where they located a man matching the description received earlier.
He was identified as the accused and arrested. A subsequent search found him to be in possession of a reciprocating saw. He is charged with,
- Theft Under $5,000
- Mischief Under $5,000
- Possession of Break in Instrument
- Breach of Recognizance
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
