Man Arrested on Strength of Outstanding Warrant
On July 21, 2021 officers with Patrol Services arrested 27-year-old Kevin Morin on the strength of an outstanding warrant.
Around 1:00 p.m. officers responded to a call of a man in possession of a gun in the 300 block of Albert Street East. Upon arrival officers located the man matching the description provided. An investigation began and officers identified the accused and determined he was wanted for failing to attend court.
He was arrested. A subsequent search of the accused found him in possession of a bb gun, two canisters of repellent spray, 2 grams of a substance believed to by crystal methamphetamine, 18 tablets believed to be oxycodone and 2 tablets believed to be apo-methylphenidate. The estimated value of the substances seized is $1,180.
He is charged with three counts of breach of recognizance, two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon and three counts of possession of a controlled substance. He was held for bail court.
