On April 2, 2026, officers with the Division 2 Unit charged 37-year-old Tianna Derasp with mischief. On April 3, 2026, officers charged the accused with obstructing a peace officer and failure to comply.
On March 4, 2026, 911 Communicators received a report of someone having tampered with security cameras and exterior door locks at a multi-unit residence building in the 600 block of Wellington Street East. An investigation revealed the accused and three others1,2—none of whom are lawful tenants of the building—tampered with security measures to gain entry into the building. A warrant was obtained for their arrest.
On April 2, 2026, officers located and arrested the accused. The accused is charged with:
- Mischief – Interfere with Lawful Use, Enjoyment, or Operation of Property
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on June 22, 2026.
On April 3, 2026, officers patrolling Queen Street East saw the accused breaching the conditions of their release. Despite physical resistance and an attempt to run away, the accused was arrested.
The accused is charged with:
- Failure to Comply with Undertaking
- Obstruct Peace Officer
The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on June 22, 2026.
