Five Youth Charged with Break and Enter
On February 9, 2022, officers with Patrol Services charged five youth with break and enter.
Around 5:40 p.m. officers responded to a break and enter at a vacant building in the 300 block of McNabb Street. Upon arrival, officers located five teenagers inside the building. While arresting the five teenagers, a 14-year-old girl spat on an officer. She was also found to be in possession of a baseball bat.
Two 14-year-old boys, a 15-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl are charged with break and enter.
A 14-year-old girl is charged with break and enter, assaulting a peace officer and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
They were all released on an undertaking and are scheduled to appear in court on April 12, 2022.
