On July 7, 2026, officers with Patrol Services charged a 15-year-old with assault in connection with an incident on July 4, 2026.
Around 8:30 p.m. on July 4, 2026, officers responded to a disturbance involving youth on the boardwalk on St. Mary’s River Drive. Three youth were arrested and charged shortly thereafter. The investigation also revealed the accused punched another victim at the scene, who is also a youth. The victim sustained minor physical injuries. A warrant was obtained for the accused’s arrest.
On July 7, 2026, officers located and arrested the accused. The accused is charged with assault. They were released on an undertaking and are scheduled to appear in court on August 25, 2026.
